Safety Inspector (Vacaville)
Citadel Roofing & Solar is looking to add to our Safety Team. We are looking for a full-time bilingual (English/Spanish) Safety Inspector. This position is based in Vacaville, however, you will be covering a specific territory across Northern California.
This is not a management level position. We are willing to train the right candidate!
Citadel Roofing & Solar is a company made up of industry veterans with more than 30 years of experience, and a stellar reputation of service excellence to new construction home builders throughout Northern California.
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily jobsite audits to ensure employees are working safely.
- Perform new hire safety and fleet training.
- Take pictures of safe and unsafe activities.
- Document and record unsafe activities.
- Other responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications:
- Experience in the construction (roofing/solar) industry helpful but not required.
- Must be able to communicate in both English and Spanish.
- Must be trust worthy and able to manage your time effectively and efficiently.
- Must be comfortable of heights, climbing ladders and being on the roof (only as needed).
- Minimal safety experience desired but not required.
- Easy to get along with.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Daily travel in a company vehicle is required (road warrior).
- Must be flexible.
- Must have a clean driving record.
- Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
