Solar Billing Specialist (Vacaville)

Citadel Roofing & Solar is looking for a Solar Billing Specialist to join our team. This position is based in Vacaville, CA and will report to the VP of Finance. 

Citadel Roofing & Solar is made up of industry veterans with more than 30 years of experience, and a stellar reputation of service excellence to
new construction home builders throughout Northern California.

Responsibilities:

  • Process progress, retention and final billings.
  • Process construction contract billings.
  • Process iPay billings.
  • Upload and download documents using SupplyPro.
  • Process homebuilder, reroof, general contractor and solar billings.
  • Other clerical responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of billing experience.
  • High school diploma required, college courses in accounting preferred.
  • Must have strong work ethic.
  • Must be well organized and a self-starter.
  • Detail oriented, professional attitude, reliable.
  • Proficient in Excel and Word, 10-key by touch, Oracle or Sage experience a plus.
  • Ability to type 60-65 wpm.
  • Possess strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong problem solving skills, basic accounting principles knowledge, documentation skills, research and resolution skills, data analysis and multitasking skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of applicable accounts payable/general ledger systems and procedures, financial chart of accounts and corporate procedures.
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
