Purchasing and Inventory Control Assistant (Vacaville)
Citadel Roofing & Solar is looking for a solar Purchasing and Inventory Control Assistant to join our growing solar team. This position is based in Vacaville, CA and will report to the Solar Operations Manager.

new construction home builders throughout Northern California
Responsibilities:
- Research and compare suppliers, goods, and services.
- Monitor inventory levels and determining purchasing needs.
- Monitor inventory levels and determining purchasing needs.

- Monitor inventory levels and replenishing stock as needed.
- Coordinate the logistics of purchase orders, stock transfers, deliveries, tagging and processing.
- Forecast supply and demand requirements to ensure stock availability.
- Perform regular stock checks and reporting any issues to supervisor.
- Compare purchase orders with invoices and packaging lists.
- Process returns for incorrect or unsatisfactory items.
- Update inventory with received items.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of purchasing/inventory control experience.
- Strong work ethic.
- Must be organized, a self-starter, and have documentation skills.

- Excellent communication and negotiating skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
- Proficient in Excel and Word.
- Proficient in CRM and inventory management software programs.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high-volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
