Solar Project Coordinator – New Construction

Citadel Roofing & Solar is looking for a full-time Project Coordinator to join our team. The role will interface between Citadel external customers and internal project management and construction teams to provide support throughout the solar installation project lifecycle for our New Construction channel. Project coordinators are responsible for communicating with our customers and assist in managing activities across multiple departments and functions to drive projects to completion.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing the Operations project cycle for new construction PV projects.
  • Manage ongoing pipeline tasks for approximately 50-100 projects.
  • Provide administrative project support to Project Managers, Sales consultants, Finance, Interconnection and Field Superintendents for assigned home builder accounts. To include but not limited to: (1) assisting with project implementation tasks, (2) managing Excel spreadsheets throughout the project lifecycle, (3) processing consultations, (4) processing purchase orders, (5) coordinating with Finance team for job numbers, budgets, WIPs, and (6) coordinating with the permit team to ensure permits are onsite prior to installation.
  • Manage and execute partner milestones in a timely manner. To include but not limited to: (1) generating designs and agreements, (2) tracking approvals, (3) submitting notice to Proceeds, (4) generating lien wavers, (5) collecting grant deeds, and (6) tracking Permission to Operate for every home.
  • Assist and identify in developing, refining, and implementing processes to improve efficiencies and the customer experience.
  • Manage conflicts and/or customer dissatisfaction by taking ownership of issues and working proactively to resolve them in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

  • General construction knowledge.
  • 2+ years of new construction-related experience -- solar PV preferred.
  • Experience in residential homebuilding project coordination or project management preferred.
  • Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment.
  • Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Regular, reliable and predictable attendance required.
  • Excellent customer service skills required.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug test and criminal background check.
  • Must be able to multitask.
